McKissock Wins TAF Designation as Official USPAP Provider for the Second Cycle in a Row

The Appraisal Foundation has once again tapped McKissock LP as its official provider of the 2014-2015 15-hour and 7-hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice online courses as well as the 2014-2015 Instructor Recertification course. The 7-hour USPAP Update course, which covers revisions to USPAP for 2014-2015 and is mandatory for all appraisers, will be available from McKissock starting in October 2013.

McKissock continues its tradition of excellence in appraisal qualifying and continuing education with the expanded USPAP curriculum. It has been our goal to make the course interesting and interactive, while at the same time ensuring that students learn the material that they need to know in order to apply USPAP in their daily appraisal experience, Director of Online Appraisal Curriculum at McKissock and certified USPAP instructor Dan Bradley said. The student experience must be exceptional.

The latest modifications to USPAP are extensive, including the streamlining of report options and the retirement of Standards 4 and 5, which was done out of concern for the clarity, understandability, and enforceability of USPAP, according to the Appraisal Standards Board.

To help appraisers wrap their heads around the revisions, McKissock is developing a targeted 1-2 hour non-credit webinar focused specifically on the changes to USPAP in addition to the official USPAP 7-hour online class. This course is also scheduled for release in early October.

As the official provider of the 7-hour USPAP course, McKissock will host appraisers on multiple platforms through online delivery, live webinars, and live seminars.
