Well Said, Well Read: New Method of Offering Customer Promotions Expands the Reach and Receptiveness of Red Apple Reading

In an ever-increasing world of cyber communication, text messaging, and sentiments abbreviated to 140 characters, Tammy Bennecke, creator of Red Apple Reading, is finding that customers pleased with her online early-elementary reading education program are still willing to take the time to spread the word about their satisfaction.

A longtime educator, Bennecke saw far too many students fall behind in the classroom, simply because they were unable to grasp the crucial language skills at the same time as their peers, leading to a lag in their learning abilities that could plague them throughout their grade-school education.

Benneckes answer was Red Apple Reading, a tutorial program accessed via computers and tablets with an internet connection, helping young learners build their reading skills through engaging games, interactive characters, and a responsive pace that synchronizes with each students stride.

In an effort to get her program into the hands of more students, Bennecke has taken steps to expand her reach. From a partnership with LivingSocial to a special promotion for educators, Bennecke took advantage of special offers to make the program more affordableand access to Red Apple Reading easier than everthroughout the first month of 2013. The result was an explosion of Red Apple Reading users across the learning spectrum.

Bennecke conveyed that Red Apple Reading is now being utilized in at least 45 states in the U.S., plus a few outside countriesand plans to expand her continental (and perhaps inter-continental?) reach. Plans are in progress for collaborations with popular online coupon programs Google Offers and Groupon, as well as possibly more promotions with LivingSocial.

We are finding that this method of marketingrevenue sharing with coupon and daily deals companiesis currently the most effective way to get our reading program into the hands of parents and children quickly, Bennecke said. Getting more children to use the program helps more children become better readers, which is what we are here for.

A plethora of pleased-customer testimonials found on the sites Testimonials and Facebook pages assure Bennecke her program is resonating with students, educators, and parents.

While offering Red Apple Reading through deal sites and coupon affiliates alters the profit margin for Red Apple Reading, Bennecke says that, after reading of the widespread help her program is offering, shes willing to take a smaller piece of the (apple) pie.

Its important for us to make this instructional program accessible to parents and early childhood educatorseven if the majority of our sales are through discounts and our revenue split is about half, Bennecke said. We are a small company with a big heart, and we want to help as many children as possible become better readers.
