ADP Announces ADP Pro, a New Initiative Linking Midsized Companies with Subject Matter Experts

New Initiative Combines Professional Certification, Webinars and Personal Access to Experts

ROSELAND, N.J. ADP, a leading provider of human capital management services, today launched ADP Pro, an educational program specifically designed to give midsized companies multiple opportunities to engage with ADP subject matter experts on a range of human capital management issues, learn industry best practices and expand their professional credentials.

Midsized businesses face new and unique challenges everything from increased government regulation to the growing cost of healthcare, said Regina Lee, President, Major Account Services, National Account Services, GlobalView and ADP Canada at ADP. ADP Pro takes our superior client engagement to the next level by linking our deep roster of subject matter experts with clients to learn how unified human resources management tools can dramatically impact business performance.

ADPs professional certification is a key component of the ADP Pro program. To date, more than 2,000 payroll and human resources professionals have earned this credential, which many see as an employment differentiator. ADP certification is offered twice a year during the Spring and Fall. The program includes virtual test preparation classes and requires an in-person exam at one of Pearson VUEs more than 200 national testing centers. Candidates who complete ADPs test preparation classes earn Continuing Education (CE) Credits at the rate of 1.5 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits, 1.5 Recertification Credit Hours (RCH) or 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Payroll and human resources professionals at midsized companies will have access to ADPs growing list of certification areas, which includes ADP Workforce Now, the companys primary human resources management solution for midsized companies.

The ADP Pro program also features ongoing training opportunities through a new series of webinars that are free for clients. Running twice a month, these webinars will showcase best practices across a variety of topics from healthcare reform and risk management to navigating the social media landscape. The ADP Pro webinar series offers clients another way to earn Continuing Education Credits and can be accessed via ADPs client portal. The first webinar will take place on March 13 and will focus on empowering a mobile workforce. On March 27, another webinar will take place focusing on the U.S. Affordable Care Act.

ADP will also offer in-person access to ADP Pros at their semiannual regional User Group Meetings. At ADPs User Group Meetings midsized businesses will be able to receive one-on-one insights from the companys internal experts on timely business issues while receiving training on ADPs ever-evolving product set.

By offering convenient training opportunities that yield continuing education credits and provide direct access to experts in areas like compliance, ADP Pro will help my organization take a best practice approach to workforce management, said Roslyn H. Schaffer, SPHR, Director of Human Resources at The Barnes Foundation, a major institution that promotes the advancement of education and the appreciation of the fine arts with campuses in Philadelphia and Merion, Pennsylvania and an ADP client.

The Graduate Management Admission Council Launches Reflect(TM) by GMAC, Powered by Hogan Assessments

The Graduate Management Admission Council, in partnership with Hogan Assessments, today launched its newest product, Reflect by GMAC, a soft-skills solution for use by students, professionals at any stage in their careers, business schools looking to develop leadership skills in the classroom, or corporations working to identify and develop talent in the workplace.
"Until now, there have been soft-skills assessments based on hard science for corporate, school or executive-coached programs or soft-science products for individual use. Reflect is a hard-science, data-driven product developed with the individual, schools and corporations in mind," said Dave Wilson, president and CEO of GMAC. "Reflect breaks new ground in this very important career and educational development space by meeting the needs of individuals looking to advance their careers or professional education, as well as schools and corporations looking to develop the personal or professional strengths of their students or staff."
What is Reflect by GMAC?
Reflect is a self-administered online assessment and self-directed, soft-skills development program.
Soft skills, or competencies, are an important set of personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects. GMAC worked with schools, corporate recruiters and experts in soft-skills development to identify 10 competencies essential to job and career success.
Two Partners, Three Assessments, 10 Competencies, One Report, and a Library, all-in-one
To build Reflect, GMAC partnered with world-class personality assessment provider Hogan Assessment Systems, an international authority in personality assessment and consulting with more than 25 years of experience working with some of the largest, most successful companies in the world, including more than half of the Fortune 100.
By combining the powerful science of Hogan's three flagship assessments into one product, Reflect identifies individual personal and professional strengths, weaknesses and core drivers along 10 competencies essential for success. Within 45 minutes of input, users have access to an online library of articles, book summaries, and videos with actionable development advice -- based on their competency scores -- from the industry's best executive coaches. Users can also benchmark their scores against high performers in 14 job categories.
"Meaningful career development is no longer just for the executive suite," said Ryan Ross, vice president of Global Alliances at Hogan. "Through our partnership with GMAC, we are able to offer the powerful science of Hogan's personality assessments to those who will have the biggest impact on the future of organizations."
Experience the Reflect advantage: The power of getting where you want to go by knowing who you are.
The Reflect program costs $99.99 (USD) and is available worldwide at www.gmac.com/reflect.
About Hogan Assessment Systems: With more than 30 years of experience, Hogan is the global leader in providing comprehensive, research-based personality assessment and consulting.
